A complete SEO strategy has two fundamental parts. On-page optimization, and link building. These processes support and reinforce each other - neither one will work by itself!

If you optimize all your pages, but don't build links back to your site, the search engines will have no problem indexing all your content but you will lack authority in the rankings.

If you establish lots of backlinks, but neglect key steps in configuring and composing your content, the search engines won't recognize you as relevant to your target keywords.

Manual upgrades of Drupal core are more time-consuming and error-prone than need be. svn vendor branches can help, but it's still not perfect.

The guys at Chapter Three recently detailed how they do Drupal core upgrades with a shell script and the find command. This has a couple of drawbacks.

The AJAX translation script that I made available last time has now been officially released as a Drupal module called Translatable Comments. It is compatible with 5.x and 6.x versions of Drupal core.
