How it Works
Launching a new website is an exciting yet challenging project. It requires a team effort. And the team at Minimal Media has this process down to a science. We’re veterans in the software development industry, and we treat your website like a software development project.
Getting off the Ground
- We’ll work with your staff to gather requirements and put together a plan that fits your unique needs.
- We will provide you with a complete statement of work and a detailed timeline of all the implementation phases and milestones, so you’ll always know if the project is on target.
- You and your staff will be provided with access to a fully functional prototype of the site.
- We’ll come on site to provide training, walk your team through the system, answer questions and collect feedback.
- We create a collaborative atmosphere where you, the client, are always able to manage content and provide feedback while we complete the initial preparation and setup.
Agile Development Process
Our process is based on an industry-proven set of project management principles called Agile Development.
- We break down the timeline into two-week chunks, called implementation “sprints,” in which we perform updates and testing of the site’s design and configuration in a separate test environment. The end result of each sprint is a new revision of the site.
- At the end of each implementation sprint, we will meet with you to review the backlog and demonstrate progress made on the latest revision of the site.
Launch
We're industry veterans, and we’re detail oriented. Before your site goes live, we will run through a checklist of critical items to ensure that your site functions correctly on all major browsers, and that your pages are SEO-friendly from the start.
